Fion Xiao has long been deeply immersed in Singapore’s and broader Asian art scenes, boasting comprehensive expertise spanning artistic creation, art market operations and cross-border art management.

She earned her diploma from ISAL Paris – Institut Supérieur des Arts et de la Culture, and holds an MBA from the School of Continuing Education, Tsinghua University. Her academic background integrates rigorous fine arts training with international business administration. Mentored by senior professors from the Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, she received systematic academic art education, laying a solid foundation in painting techniques and profound humanistic artistic accomplishment.

After relocating to Singapore, Ms. Xiao conducted in-depth research on the evolution of Nanyang art. She distils the essence of Singapore’s multi-ethnic culture and fuses it with traditional Eastern aesthetics in her creations, forging a distinctive artistic language that balances oriental poetic charm with global contemporary aesthetics. Her artworks feature luminous, vivid hues and rich, nuanced layers. With delicate, gentle brushstrokes, she depicts the spiritual bond between urban landscapes, humanity and nature, vividly embodying the vibrant vitality of contemporary Nanyang art.

Her extensive artistic sojourns across Europe, paired with years of hands-on experience at international galleries and auction houses, grant her incisive insights into the global art market, professional collecting frameworks and cross-cultural artistic exchange. She consistently champions the international promotion of modern and contemporary art from China, Singapore and Southeast Asia. She is an official member of the Singapore Art Society.
